began in 1958 as part of the St. Lawrence Seaway project, which required the permanent flooding of ten communities in the area, known as The Lost Villages. Upper Canada Village was a part of the project's heritage preservation plan. Many of the buildings in Upper Canada Village were transported directly from the villages to be flooded.

หมู่บ้าน แห่งนี้แต่ก่อนน้ำท่วม ต่อมาทางการสร้างเขื่อน ทุกๆหลังคาเรือน จึงอพยพมาอยู่ที่แห่งนี้ ซึ่งไม่ใช่การจำลอง แต่เป็นการยกบ้าน เครื่องใช้ วีถีชีวิตสมัยก่อนมาให้ทุกๆท่านได้ชม หาดูยากในเมืองไทย แทบไม่มีให้เห็น เป็นความรู้มากๆค่ะ
