Serpent River First Nation the Waterfalls Lodge is a Fabulous Northern Ontario Fishing Experience or canon, kayak and picnic.

The tag line for this trail indicates that it's near Blind River, but it's actually in Serpent River,
on Hwy 17 (TCH) about 7 miles west of Spanish. The trailhead is well marked at a roadside
rest area on the south side of the highway, where the Serpent River Falls is located
on the north side of the highway.
     Chutes Provincial Park is recreation class provincial parking Sables-Spanish Rivers, Ontario near the community of Massey, Ontario, Canada historic Hwy17 in the Near North of Ontario.
Biking is available on park roads only.
Birding   Many species of birds nest in the park
fishing   The River can be fished along the banks in several areas.
Hiking
Twin Bridges Trail - 6 km return (2 hours)
Following the Aux Sables River this trail leads to lookouts at the falls and the Seven Sisters Cataracts.
Swimming
The Park has a fine sandy beach tucked in a bend in the river below the falls.
The park is gated, but visitors are welcome to walk in. The views of the .Aux Sables River are spectacular in winter and the many waterfalls and cataracts along the river are especially scenic.
Bring your snowshoes and cross-country skis or just come for a winter hike.

    Elliot Lake is a city in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It is north of Lake Huron, midway between the cities of Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie in the Northern Ontario region.
    Elliot Lake has been in existence since 1955, and grew out of the wilderness following geologist Franc Joubin’s uranium discovery earlier that decade.

   Joubin’s discovery resulted in a dozen uranium mines in the area, 11 around Elliot Lake and one on the North Shore. Two mining companies were involved: Rio Algom, headed up by Joseph
Hirshhorn and Denison Mines, headed by Stephen Roman. The discovery attracted mine workers from across the province, the country and around the world. However, the boom was followed by a bust in the early 1960s when the United States government cancelled its contracts with the two mining companies. By 1965, many of the mines had closed, with only two still operating, Rio Algom’s Nordic Mine and Denison Mine.

เกิดเป็นสายแร่ร่วมกับแร่ซัลไฟด์อื่นๆ ช่น คาลโคไพไรต์ สฟาเลอไรต์ กาลีนา เป็นแร่ทุติยภูมิ ในหินอัคนีโดยแยกไปจากหินหนืด ส่วนมาก เกิดที่อุณหภูมิสูง แต่ที่อุณหภูมิต่ำหรืออุณหภูมิธรรมดานี้ก็เกิดได้ นอกจากนี้ยังเกิดจากแหล่งแร่แปรสัมผัสด้วยและเกิดอยู่ในหินชั้น
โดยเกิดเป็นแร่ปฐมภูมิหรือทุติยภูมิ
ทำให้ตื่นตา ตื่นใจชื่นชม บรรยากาศธรรมชาติ แม่น้ำ เสียงนกร้อง แทบไม่มีนักท่องเที่ยวมาเที่ยว

Queen Elizabeth II Wild lands Provincial Park is an 82,793 acre (33,505 hectare)
natural environment class park spanning from Halliburton County on the east side of the park,
through the northern townships of the City of Kawartha Lakes; to the District Municipality of Muskoka on the west.
The park is one of the largest and least developed natural areas south of Algonquin Park. It protects an ecological diverse and biologically significant area with more than 50 vegetation patterns. The park has a low rolling topography which includes organic soils, flat sandy deposits, wetlands, bare bedrock plain and bare bedrock uplands with shallow soil patches, characterized by numerous rock ridges, including scenic cliffs and gorges, separating dozens of small lakes, rivers and streams.
