Adventures in Khon Kaen Thailand Part 1

Hello friends welcome back to our Blog. Last March while visiting Khon Kaen notice in the down town part of this magnificent city that the sidewalks have been redone and improved for wheel chairs and the visibly  blind. While admiring the workmanship I seen this with a shock on my face!

The day was not wasted when I couldn't understand why we keep seeing all these people dressed in black, white and yellow. There faces done up beautifully and all gathering on the main street. It wasn't hundreds but thousands of woman, girls and some boys. Was to honor the passing King  Bhumibol Adulyadej. Everyone danced in unison was so cool to see. I hope to have a video up soon of this event.
Was well worth the visit.

Building a Home & Resort in Thailand

Hello my friends, John here and back from Thailand on another trip but will soon be back. Take a look at my YouTube Channel www.youtube.com/c/ahartinthai and become a subscriber for more adventures in Thailand.

I will feature a couple of videos and photos on what adventures we are up too.

So we started to build this home and resort in Thailand which is situated West of Khon Kaen
near Nong Ruea

All I can go on is putting in these 9 posts and build from there. No drawings, plans or directions.
Many white hats and bosses with language barriers but slowly and quickly its coming together.
So much happened within the first few days I was amazed by the progress. After the second day we arrived a ceremony was done and the buildings started. After a couple weeks the walls on the lower level were placed and all windows installed. New security doors for visitors center aka open room to the resort. We will have two guest rooms on lower level and plan for a few cottages that surround the lake that was previously dug. Electricity and well water is already onsite.
